Taka Hayashi is a self-taught painter, graphic designer and footwear designer, who has teamed up with Vans to reimagine their classic styles with deluxe materials and elevated styling cues through a series of limited edition collections.

I partnered with the Vans design team to understand each season’s product narrative and drive affinity for key releases, securing interview opportunities for Taka Hayashi and feature stories focusing on the new styles he crafted.

His unique background and superior design style drove media interest across sneaker, lifestyle, art and fashion outlets with dedicated editorial placements in Men’s Journal, Nylon, GQ, Inked Magazine and more.
